Hello Everyone!
It has been a little over a year now since I got a DA account and I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. I've been using this account for all of my art work whether its been a portfolio piece or just a sketch I did on the side for myself. I've been meaning to get a website going just for a portfolio but haven't had the time to learn dreamweaver to create a site. So why not just create a folder here on DA, put portfolio pieces in it, and give that link to potential clients. I really wish I thought of that sooner. So right now I've have 15 pieces in my portfolio folder and will change at I do more work. I really want everyone's opinion on what I have in there. My main focus is key character animation but I have some cartoon illustrations as well. Let me know what you all think should or shouldn't be in my portfolio folder. Critique my portfolio! Anything anyone says will really help me out. I still can't believe I didn't do this sooner. This is such a great idea! I think everyone should have a portfolio folder.

Happy New Year Everyone!
I don't know about you but 2013 for me was a bad year. Relatives dying and the state of animation/ VFX industry can really bring a person down. I am very blessed to have my husband and our family for support. I decided in 2013 to serious conceder starting my own project as well as still freelance. So far I have a list of 7 graphic novels and a couple of children's books I want to create. Create meaning everything from writing, drawing, editing layouts, campaigning, marketing, promoting, all the fun stuff. It's serious stuff which is why it took me a year to decide.
