Hey Everyone!
I think I'll finally start using the journal as a blog or something till I eventually get a website going. Any who, since I started living in California I keep noticing storyboard jobs on craigslist. Jobs I know I do but don't have proper portfolio to prove it. My storyboards from school, although they show great storytelling, did not have the best artwork. But hey, that's what's school is all about and as a younger artist in class my art was really changing. So now when I get some time on the side I'll be redoing my boards plus working on existing characters. That's another thing missing in my portfolio... existing characters. I'll be killing two bird with one stone! In the mean time I'm back to work on the Leafguard Squirrel as well as working on two short films. Keepin' busy is a good thing!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I don't know about you but 2013 for me was a bad year. Relatives dying and the state of animation/ VFX industry can really bring a person down. I am very blessed to have my husband and our family for support. I decided in 2013 to serious conceder starting my own project as well as still freelance. So far I have a list of 7 graphic novels and a couple of children's books I want to create. Create meaning everything from writing, drawing, editing layouts, campaigning, marketing, promoting, all the fun stuff. It's serious stuff which is why it took me a year to decide.
Today I've launched the facebook page for my first
